Why do we need additional vitamins?

Are we really taking enough vitamins and minerals through our daily dietary? The answer is never enough. Why?


1. We can't eat the volume of food that would be required to provide the nutrients.
2. We do not want the calories found in the foods required to obtain necessary vitamins.
3. We do not devote the time needed to select the proper food.
4. We won't give up the junk foods and new low-fat, high calorie substitute that clutter our diets.
5. Large amount of some vitamins are lost from foods during cooking in high temperature.
6. A lot of food pollution cases happened around the world. This lead to insufficient of fresh food.


That is why getting sufficient vitamins and minerals are very IMPORTANT to us in order to provide needed vitamins and minerals for everyday functions of our body as well as to prevent deficiency conditions that occur when they are not present in the diet. Yet, with exercise, our body condition will be at the optimal.
